STEAM 2022 in Partnership with INTO Film

Film Competition

Students are invited to take part in our STEAM 2022 Film Competition on the 4th of October during our event at Thorpe Park.  We have teamed up with INTOFILM (https://www.intofilm.org/) to offer teachers CPD on film capture and editing pre-event and post-event.

Film Competition

Students are invited to take part in our STEAM 2022 Film Competition on the 4th of October during our event at Thorpe Park. 

 

We have teamed up with INTOFILM (https://www.intofilm.org/) to offer teachers CPD on film capture and editing pre-event and post-event.

Students are invited to capture video content on the day of the event using their mobile phones/ipads/cameras, to edit it together into a short 3-minute video and post it to YouTube as an ‘unlisted’ video. 

 

Once online they can send us the link to their video and their entry will be submitted to the judges at INTOFILM.

​

The winning entry will receive a state of the art ‘Smartphone Vlogging Rig’ shown below.  (This does not include the smartphone).

​

The winning entry will also be shared widely on our social media for the event.

Deadline for entries is Friday 2nd December 2022.  The winning entry will be revealed on the 19th of December.

Videos will be judged on their: -

  • Originality.

  • Creativity.

  • Storyline and structure.

  • Quality of production.

  • Entertainment Value.

​
